As Corporate Financial Controller, you take ownership of the quality and integrity of Orffa’s group financial reporting. You play a key role in ensuring that the financial performance of the international organization is accurately consolidated, reported, and translated into reliable insights for management.
You are responsible for managing the monthly, quarterly, and annual group closing, consolidation and reporting process. You coordinate the financial reporting cycle across multiple international entities, review submissions from subsidiaries, and ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency in line with group accounting policies. You take ownership of the preparation of consolidated financial statements and contribute to the annual report and statutory reporting process.

In addition, you act as a key point of contact for complex accounting topics, internal controls, and external audit activities. You work closely with finance teams worldwide and external auditors to maintain a strong financial control environment and continuously improve reporting quality.
You also oversee corporate tax and transfer pricing activities together with external advisors. Beyond the recurring reporting cycle, you identify opportunities to improve and standardize finance processes, reporting, and controls across the organization. Through initiatives around SAP S/4HANA, automation, and process optimization, you contribute to the further professionalization of Orffa’s finance function.

Working with international teams and stakeholders, you act as the connecting link between local entities and corporate finance. Reporting directly to Rik Meulemans, Manager Finance & Control, you help further strengthen Orffa’s financial reporting, controls, and processes to support continued international growth.

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics, or a related field.
  • A RA qualification is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial control, audit, consolidation, or corporate reporting.
  • Experience working in an international organization with multiple entities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation principles, and internal controls.
  • Affinity with corporate tax, transfer pricing, and complex accounting topics.
  • Experience with ERP systems; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial information into actionable insights.
  • A proactive and independent working style with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across different countries and cultures.
  • Excellent command of the English language; Dutch is preferred.
