2Connect is a rapidly growing international platform specializing in high-end connectivity solutions for leading international manufacturers in sectors such as semiconductor, defense, aerospace, medical and industrial technology. Backed by Rivean Capital, the company is in an ambitious phase of international growth and professionalization, driven by strong organic growth and an active buy-and build strategy, having completed multiple add-on acquisitions across Europe and the US in recent years. To support this next phase, 2Connect is looking for an ambitious and hands-on Manager Finance & Control NL who wants to play a key role in an internationally operating PE-backed environment.

In this position you report directly to the Group Controller and work closely together with the CFO. While your primary focus will be on the Dutch operations, you will also contribute to group management reporting and act as a backup to the Group Controller in this area. In addition, you will work closely together on strategic initiatives, including the Innovation (Data & AI) agenda and projects related to working capital improvement and inventory optimization.

For the Dutch operations, you will act as the Finance Business Partner and a key member of the Operational Management Team, overseeing all financial matters together with the Accounting Lead. You operate at the center of the Dutch organization and will be closely involved in both the operational steering of the business and broader strategic topics.

Due to the strong growth of 2Connect combined with increasing purchasing scale and a growing portfolio of larger international customers such, the need for further professionalization has increased significantly. At the same time, it is important to maintain the entrepreneurial mindset and agility that characterize 2Connect today.

In this context, the Manager Finance & Control will play a key role in building structures and processes that support the business, while strengthening governance, transparency and decision-making. Customer contracts are becoming increasingly complex, often involving customized solutions with an R&D component, resulting in higher commercial and operational risk exposure. This creates a growing need for more structured governance around pricing, commercial terms and authorizations, while still allowing the business sufficient flexibility and speed in decision-making. In parallel, greater visibility into cost pricing is required, as well as the development of a more standardized pricing model.

In addition, there is a strong focus on optimizing inventory management (including moving and non moving stock and S&OP planning), improving insight into customer and product profitability and further enhancing reporting and analysis capabilities across a high mix low volume portfolio.

  • Master’s degree in finance, Economics or Accountancy, Controlling, post-Master (RA, RC, ACCA, CMA) is considered a plus
  • 4-6 years' of progressive experience in Audit, Advisory and/or controlling; preferably in a PE owned international matrix organization and/or within the BIG4
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, PowerBI is considered a plus
  • Solid technical finance background; able to understand the core financial processes and do the financial sanity check
  • High energy level, a strong analytical skillset combined with a hands-on mentality: pragmatic and action-oriented
  • Ability to influence at all levels (fluent in English and preferably Dutch), build bridges and valuable relationships
  • Experience working in a multinational environment, interacting with geographically dispersed and culturally diverse stakeholders
  • Structured way of working; plan, do, act, check. Able to handle conflicting priorities, manage projects from A to Z and able to set clear expectations and follow through

2Connect has experienced significant growth over the past three years, tripling its revenue through a combination of strong organic expansion and international acquisitions. Today, the company employs approximately 800 FTE and operates across the Netherlands, Germany, Romania, the United States and Hong Kong, combining local sales, engineering and R&D capabilities with scalable international production capacity.
