International Controller - WTS Energy
Den Haag
What do you do?

Across the globe, the way the world is powered and connected is being transformed. Offshore wind farms rise on the horizon, solar grids stretch across landscapes, and new infrastructure projects reshape entire regions. Fossil fuels are fading as renewables take center stage. The technologies are proven and the opportunities immense, but true progress depends on people with the skills and vision to make it real.

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in the Netherlands, WTS Energy, part of TCI Group, has grown into a global leader in workforce management and outsourcing for the energy, infrastructure and marine sectors. The company provides recruitment, manpower supply, training and outsourcing to support projects worldwide. Whether in renewable energy, oil & gas, grid modernization or infrastructure development, WTS Energy is helping shape the future of energy. To reinforce this mission, WTS Energy is seeking an International Controller who will provide the financial backbone of its global operations.

As International Controller, you will report to the Accounting Director, collaborate closely with a fellow International Controller, and ensure the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting across WTS Energy’s global operations. You will guide local finance teams, challenge existing ways of working, and ensure that international subsidiaries operate in line with group standards and statutory requirements.

Your responsibilities will focus on leading monthly closings, preparing reconciliations and journal entries, and ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting. You will take ownership of statutory reporting, transfer pricing and tax compliance, while also overseeing treasury activities such as FX management, hedging strategies and forward-looking cash flow management and pooling. Working closely with local finance teams, you will analyze performance, act as a business partner to the countries, and deliver clear, actionable management reporting.

Beyond the day-to-day, you will drive improvement. From implementing stronger internal controls in close cooperation with your peers to harmonizing accounting policies and procedures, you will help build a more resilient finance organization. You will also work on initiatives ranging from ERP upgrades and Power BI dashboards to RPA projects and process automation. Acting as a key contact for auditors, external advisors, and internal stakeholders, you will ensure timely responses, maintain compliance, and strengthen the financial backbone of WTS Energy’s international operations.
