HENDI is a leading supplier of professional kitchen equipment and supplies, specifically designed for the hospitality sector. Since its founding in 1934, HENDI has provided high-quality, innovative products that support chefs and hospitality professionals worldwide. The partnership with 365 Capital, which joined as an investor in 2024, will accelerate HENDI's growth strategy. In this next phase of growth, HENDI is also investing in the further professionalization of its commercial, operational, and financial processes—where you, in the new role of Controller, will support this growth.
As Controller, you will be the right hand of the Manager Finance & Control and act as the key day-to-day contact for the accounting team (5 FTE) within the Finance department. You will help shape the financial backbone of the organization and ensure accurate and reliable financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making.
During the month-end and year-end closing, you will take on a reviewing and coaching role, supporting your colleagues with more complex accounting topics (including the actuals consolidation process and intercompany reconciliations). You will play a central role in managing the external audit process and liaising with auditors.
Working closely with the Manager Finance & Control, you will deliver insightful financial analyses, identify deviations and trends, and provide clear, data-driven reports that guide operational and strategic decisions. You will actively support the budgeting and forecasting processes and monitor the company’s cash flow and working capital position.
Driven by a commitment to elevate finance processes, you will assist with the implementation of an efficient and standardized closing and reporting process, transitioning operations from Excel to BI analysis wherever possible.
By combining strong technical accounting skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, you will play an essential role in strengthening control and supporting the organization’s continued growth.
Due to the strong growth ambitions and dynamic nature of the organization, you will be involved in a wide variety of projects alongside the day-to-day operations. These include the implementation of BI, optimization of the invoicing flow, further development of dashboards, creating control reports using BI, and taking over the consolidation process. With the expectation to double revenue within the next five years, the organization is entering an exciting phase that brings many challenges and opportunities for innovation and improvement across processes and systems.
You are an ambitious and driven financial professional. You have a keen eye for identifying problems and finding solutions, always exploring whether processes can be improved, streamlined, and made more efficient. You enjoy leveraging your financial expertise to make a real difference. Additionally, you are a people-oriented finance professional, drawing energy from others and taking the time to invest in the knowledge and skills of your colleagues within Finance. You are a true sparring partner, fostering connection, trust, and mutual understanding across the organization.
