Culture
At its core, Schuberg Philis believes that work should be meaningful. It should be a place where individuals can bring their whole selves, surrounded by people who uplift each other, and where there is space to grow both professionally and personally. The organization is designed to match the ambitions they share. The company operates as a self-steering organization based on sociocratic principles, which means they don’t just work for the company—they are the company. None of them have a boss, but all are responsible for the company’s success. They have an empowering agile decision-making process, led by the Council, in which leadership is not top-down or bottom-up, but a blend of both. This entrepreneurial spirit fosters innovation, accountability, and a strong sense of ownership within the organization.

Schuberg Philis carefully selects whom they work with—whether customers, projects, or shareholders—since the people and ideas they engage with shape who they become. If something doesn’t feel right, they trust themselves to say no, always protecting what matters most: the well-being of colleagues, the joy in their work, and the relationships they build.

There are no unnecessary management layers at Schuberg Philis. You won’t notice any internal office politics, as everyone is free to share their opinions. There are no fixed working hours, and people are encouraged to find the right balance between work and personal time. From their colorful, open offices, colleagues work with great joy and passion. They have their own coffee corner, and every day they’re treated by in-house chefs who provide delicious and healthy food to keep everyone energized as they contribute to the growth of Schuberg Philis!
