Creating a top-tier European datacentre provider platform, the operating business of Penta Infra (Penta Infra Assets) is growing fast. The Penta Infra Fund started in 2015 and currently has 11 operational data centres in the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and France. We are looking for a Project Controller, who wants to make an impact on setting up top-tier, modern, scalable finance processes.
This is a broad role in a specialized, highly data-driven environment where you will report directly to the Finance Director and work closely with the Development Managers. As a Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in driving the company’s financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
This newly created position requires a pioneering mindset, as your primary responsibility is to establish the project control framework. You will oversee projects with budgets ranging from €1 to €180 million. A key part of your role is to assess existing systems, determine where data can be extracted, and develop effective budget monitoring processes. If necessary, you will select the appropriate tools to generate strategic insights for Development Managers, the Management Team, and investors.
You will update and advise Development Managers on budgets, cash flow forecasts, and key deliverables. Additionally, you will track project performance, monitor costs, and manage approvals while ensuring that progress aligns with targets related to timing, scope, and financial objectives.
Your responsibilities also include preparing and presenting detailed project financial performance reports to both internal and external stakeholders. Furthermore, you will identify financial opportunities and risks and propose strategies to mitigate potential challenges.

• Master’s degree in finance, Economics or Accountancy
• >5 years of relevant working experience within Project Control
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is a strong plus
