HENDI is a leading supplier of professional kitchen equipment and supplies, specifically designed for the hospitality sector. Since its founding in 1934, HENDI has provided high-quality, innovative products that support chefs and hospitality professionals worldwide. The partnership with 365 Capital, which joined as an investor in 2024, will accelerate HENDI's growth strategy. In this next phase of growth, HENDI is also investing in further professionalization of its commercial, operational, and financial processes—where you, in the role of Manager Finance & Control, will play a crucial part.
As the Manager Finance & Control, you will report to the CFO and be responsible for HENDI's financial planning and operations, both in the Netherlands and at the group level. You will play a leading and coordinating role for the accounting team (4 FTE) and serve as their day-to-day contact for substantive guidance, oversight, and coaching.
Your first priority will be to further professionalize and optimize financial processes in the Netherlands, after which you will roll out these improvements across the group. You will work closely with the CFO to engage monthly with the business on performance, risks, and opportunities. You will translate these insights into clear management reports, providing the executive team with strategic analyses and the underlying drivers, enabling them to make proactive, data-driven decisions.
Driven by a commitment to elevate finance processes, you will lead the implementation of an efficient and standardized closing and reporting process, moving operations from Excel to QlikSense wherever possible. You will be responsible for the group’s consolidation, balance sheet, and annual accounts, and you will oversee audit processes both in the Netherlands and for international entities.
In this key role, you will contribute to a more data-driven approach within HENDI’s operations and support a financial foundation on which the organization can continue to grow.
As the Manager Finance & Control, you are a driving force behind optimizing financial processes and professionalizing QlikSense. You develop dashboards and analyses for revenue, margins, growth trends, transfer pricing setup, liquidity planning, and ESG reporting. Additionally, you are responsible for strategic financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
You are also responsible for enhancing accounting and reporting processes, providing the organization with insights into profitability and risks.
You are an ambitious and driven financial professional. You have a keen eye for identifying problems and finding solutions, always exploring whether processes can be improved, streamlined, and made more efficient. You enjoy leveraging your financial expertise to make a real difference. Additionally, you are a people-oriented finance professional, drawing energy from others and taking the time to invest in the knowledge and skills of your colleagues within Finance. You are a true sparring partner, fostering connection, trust, and mutual understanding across the organization.
"Due to the complexity of this role, it is essential that you are comfortable handling multiple responsibilities simultaneously. You come up with new ideas but also maintain a hands-on attitude. Furthermore, strong communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial, and you have the ability to engage effectively across the entire spectrum, from holding company executives to warehouse employees. You provide support and help elevate the company by acting as a true sparring partner."
