In which you as the new Commercial Controller will play a pivotal role by being the finance business partner supporting commercial decision making.
In this position you report to the Head of Finance EMEA, work closely together with your peers who focus on E-commerce, Warehousing, Consumer Care and your finance & accounting colleagues in Middle East and US. Together with the Commercial teams, you prepare and contribute to the 3YR plan, yearly plan and updates. You manage the commercial performance reporting and have a (pro)active role in the Sales/Marketing meetings, Business reviews and Customer reviews.
In this position you operate at the heart of commercial decision-making. For the regional Sales Managers and Marketing Leadership team you provide valuable insight into revenue, costs and profitability on Customer and Channel and category (product) area. You will work closely with Manager Pricing & Trade Terms Europe on (ad hoc) price-volume mix analyses, advice on pricing strategies and calculate impact of new trade terms with customers You review customer quotes and product margins and assist with new contracts, partnerships or new product Introductions. Insight into costs such as warehousing, logistics and commercial discounts are crucial to be able to manage positive margins and you take it all into account. As their financial business partner, you give insight in and steer the business focussing on topline growth, strong margin management, cost saving opportunities and healthy inventory levels.
In the current phase of BISSELL EMEA, you will be involved in several ad hoc analyses and business cases to support strategic growth objectives. For example when entering a new market , looking at go to market and distributor scenario's or with the upcoming product innovations. Supporting the strategic pricing, accurate forecasting per client/product to ensure healthy inventory levels and tracking the ROI of the trade and marketing spend supporting the introduction of the innovated products. Furthermore, you will introduce a solid evaluation process to be able to use the key learnings for future business cases and strategic decisions.
