What do you do?

30 years, operating in over 60 countries and over 8,000 loyalty solutions created with over a billion shoppers and helped hundreds of retailers build a more loyal customer base. TCC creates 360º loyalty marketing campaigns, from a gamification campaign, to a digital engagement platform, or an attractive range of physical rewards.

To strengthen TCC’s corporate finance team, we are looking for an ambitious Group Controller for the HQ in the WTC tower in Amsterdam. In this position, you will have the chance to develop yourself into a strong, well-rounded financial within a very dynamic and highly internationally operating company.

In this newly created position, you report directly to the Group CFO and work closely together with 3 Group Controllers. You will be responsible for managing and delivering the periodic (consolidated) closing, group balance sheet performance, statutory reporting and management reporting on Group level. Each Controller has topic based responsibilities, for this role this will be the overhead cost pool for 13 countries. Within the team, you will be each other’s backup, help and spar with each other if necessary.

You act as a Finance Business Partner for the head of functions and local finance. You provide insights, high-quality analyses and recommendations which support the business and challenge them to take the right actions that will add direct value. In order to do this, you will analyse the delivered financial and operational data from the local finance teams. You perform a financial sanity check, analyse the variances towards the forecast/budgets and make sure you understand the ins and outs of regional/country performance. You translate this into (consolidated) group management reporting and commentary for the board and external shareholders.

Within TCC, no day is the same. And neither will yours. The market in which TCC operates is highly dynamic, this means that the business needs to be supported on a lot of different business cases, projects and ad hoc analyses. Because of the broad scope of the group team, you will be involved in various projects. One day, you could be managing and improving the management reporting. The next day, you might focus on the integration and financial onboarding of an acquisition. There is a lot of room for initiatives for new projects, regarding improvement of processes, systems and creating valuable insights.

  • Master degree in Finance, (Business) Economics or Accountancy, post-Master qualification (RA) is a plus; 
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Accountancy. Preferably experience with internationally project-driven companies; 
  • Experience with Dutch GAAP and preferably in group structures and consolidation procedures; 
  • Excellent communication skills in English and fluent in Dutch, other additional language is a plus; 
  • You have a strong analytical skillset combined with a hands-on mentality: pragmatic and action-oriented; 
  • Proven ability of working in a complex and dynamic organisation with tight deadlines, and having international exposure; 
  • Above all, a great colleague, enthusiastic, approachable, honest, committed, result focused, a team player who wants to achieve the best results together; 
  • Able to connect and align with many stakeholders; 
  • Strong problem solving skills, ready to roll-on your sleeves with the team when needed;
